little white n pink slipper

i made this last night. i change the material, instead of using swarozki crystal, i used a white and pink beads and the outcome was not as good as the last one. but still i like it because its cute... hhhmmm what should i do with it???? should i give it away?? or should i give it to a friend of mine whose been away for quite some time... sof, how are u?? really miss u... ^-^

peeps!! heeee... remember i told u about my crystal course at epal center last year. well, the lady whose in charge of the course keep smsing me about the class. i was suppose to start beading and crystaling (eeehhhh???) on january but could not find a time to go there. so, last sunday i SPARE one hour of our time (sundays always been me n hubby's time) and went there. wah, bestnya!!!! i just can't stop smiling heheheee to see the result... i made little pink crystal slipper. isnt it cuteee..... ooo it so adorable.




hhhmmm i was thinking, actually hubby was thinking, better if i start my beading business... i make few little slippers and sell it to others, perhaps my readers... yup youuuuuu... wanna buy one???!!!

fyi, am using swarozki crystal for my project (actually for the whole project) and it cost a lot actually. so, since i can get a cheaper beads from the local store, i can make a cheaper slipper then... hhhmmm... so, anyone interested. just buzz (leave a comment) me okie... but i only accept serious buyer. i already started collecting beads and for the time being you can just look at the photos bellow. i will update my collections once i finish it!! ^0^

we just bought our new wardrobe last tuesday and they only sent it to us last sunday. and i started digging up all our shirts, dresses and pants and etc...etc... to put into the wardrobe. and guess what i found...??? ^-^

it was my 'baju kurung'. i wore it during my wedding (nikah). i bet i cannot fit the bottom part because i put some weight... ahaks!! ^0~

btw, i've sewed the beads myself. hubby draw me the 'menjalara' layout and i traced it down with pencil. am quite impress to see the outcomes.... heheee... and i got many compliments from my friends and relatives... and a few orders from friends!! ^0^

mY lASt bEAdiNG PRojEct

this was my last beading project for 2008 (it is for my baju kurung, wore it during Aidilfitri). will start a new project on January 2009, will work on my sis in law's dress (jubah). will show you the photos once i finish it. my crochet project still on going, i don't know when will i finish. will blog on it soon as i come back from a long holiday.... ~~ will be away tomorrow till next monday for a holiday. we are moving out to our new house so i need a few days off to sort things out ~~

Hello there!! I promise you to blog on beads festival last saturday kan... Well, it was fun, i learn many new things...thanks to sewcute for inviting me... ^-^ Epal's actually is having it's beads roadshow, and Ms. Cheng (from KL headquarters) came and give us a talk on women accessories - crystals n beads. She's also teaches us how to make our own jewelries from beads and crystals.

Did you know that swarovski crystal is actually from Austria. And Austria is the one and only swarovski manufacturer in the world!! What an info!! Now i know... FYI your crystal color is depends on what month are you born in... Since I born in February, so mine is amethyst (purple-ish). There are two types of jewelries, i.e fine jewelry (made by machine) and handmade jewelry. There are a few techniques of making jewelries, i.e wire crochet, stringing, weaving, pearl professional stringing, hotfix (jewel that fix on dress), glueing (glued crystal on accessories), artclay and DIY. The best part is, on that day Epal is giving out promotion for those who want to register for the DIY course at only RM388 for a year classes. And we also have the opportunity to learn a different techniques of making a jewelry including flat weaving, 3D weaving, free hand wire work and pin work. For early registration, we get a set of swasrovski crystals collections in 63 different colors, effects and wide range of sizes!! I treasured the collection already!!

BEADS FESTIVAL

went to see sewcute yesterday noon at her office. need to get an invitation card from her. there will be a Beads Festival this coming Saturday (29 Nov 2008) at 10:00am, Pusat Latihan Kraftangan Epal, Wawasan Plaza, KK. all are invited. looking at the tentative, they will have a slide show, exhibition, and can't wait to participate in DIY workshop. told my hubby about this and he agreed to let me go there ~~ usually my hubby will not let me go anywhere easily without him accompany me, but since he's working on saturday and i love beads...so he said yes lah.... thanks abg adie...luv u much!!! ~~ anw, will blog about it next week ya... and thanks to sewcute for the cards. she gave two cards, and i passed one to my colleague.

i bet the pom-pom maker is from Japan... ya...it so obvious because the instruction is in Japanese. yet, still easy to understand because it has pictures..

mY CReaTIVe hANdS....

hello there...am feeling good today... been doing a lot of thinking lately. i need to stop that because it's giving me a headache!!

so to refresh everything, i posted some pictures of my very first crocheted blue bikini top! i made this about a year ago, and i love it. For my next year project, i planned to make some more bikini tops.

oo...oo...i must share this pictures with you guys...heheee... i've made this small pouch with an egg inside it for my wedding reception. It sort of a door gift but it was given only to our family (especially our parents) during the "merenjis" ceremony (blessing to the bride and groom).

and this grey selendang, was made two weeks before my wedding. i wore it during nikah ceremony. i was looking for white color actually, but they only have this color. so, what i do is i add a white lace on one side and finished it with white and gold beads. luckily it matches my dress. and the best part is, everyone admires my selendang!! \(^0^)/
