Hello there!! I promise you to blog on beads festival last saturday kan... Well, it was fun, i learn many new things...thanks to sewcute for inviting me... ^-^ Epal's actually is having it's beads roadshow, and Ms. Cheng (from KL headquarters) came and give us a talk on women accessories - crystals n beads. She's also teaches us how to make our own jewelries from beads and crystals.

Did you know that swarovski crystal is actually from Austria. And Austria is the one and only swarovski manufacturer in the world!! What an info!! Now i know... FYI your crystal color is depends on what month are you born in... Since I born in February, so mine is amethyst (purple-ish). There are two types of jewelries, i.e fine jewelry (made by machine) and handmade jewelry. There are a few techniques of making jewelries, i.e wire crochet, stringing, weaving, pearl professional stringing, hotfix (jewel that fix on dress), glueing (glued crystal on accessories), artclay and DIY. The best part is, on that day Epal is giving out promotion for those who want to register for the DIY course at only RM388 for a year classes. And we also have the opportunity to learn a different techniques of making a jewelry including flat weaving, 3D weaving, free hand wire work and pin work.
